Bloom Girl Canvas

Morning all and welcome to my first post for February.

So my first post for the month is my take on Mel's awesome Mood Board challenge.

This month Jo sent me the gorgeous "XO" Range from Kaiser and I have to say I was super excited as I just love this range, but not only that I also got a gorgeous Bloom Girl Stamp which I have used on my canvas below!!!

So let me tell you a little bit about how I created my canvas.  I started by stamping my Bloom Girl onto the canvas using Black Ink.  Then using some Dylusion Sprays I randomly sprayed around the outside of my bloom girl.  As the Dylusion sprays are fairly vibrant I sprayed some water to tone down the colours slightly.  For the Bloom Girl herself I sprayed water on her first then used my Dylusions and then removed colour using paper towel so she still had some colour but not overpowering.

From the Mood Board I used the top photo and incorporated some of the bright colours on my canvas.  I took some white Kaiser Flowers and Sprayed them directly with Dylusions so they were beautiful and bright just like the photo.  I also used some leaves around her face in the flower clusters, and the last piece I took from the Mood Board was the word "Dream".

As I mentioned above I finished off my "Bloom Girl" canvas by adding lots of gorgeous blooms and also some matching die cuts from the gorgeous "XO" range.

Well that's all from me today.  I do hope you can find some time to join in with this month's awesome challenge, I look forward to seeing what wonderful creations you come up with using the Mood Board.

And just a friendly reminder all these gorgeous products I have used today can be purchased from Jo at her Scrapbookit Store.

Until next time, happy crafting and thanks for stopping by,

Tania xx
