It was amazing to see all the beautiful entries for our February Sketch competition... Thank you for all the ladies that entered, we found it really difficult to pick our favourite layout, so we decided to place everyone's name into a container and pick out a winner... Back To School Challenge

We only had two entries for our Back to school layout challenge so l'm going to give a scrap pack to both Joanne and Sarah... Thank you for taking the time to enter our challenge...

Mother/Daughter Crop Afternoon

Our first Mother/Daughter Crop Afternoon was very successful and the girls were very excited when they arrived and were given a scrapbooking pack... They couldn't wait to get started on their projects... A lot of the mums had mentioned before the crop afternoon that their girls always use one piece of paper and just stick their photos down and they wanted to be able to teach them how to use several papers and layer them... I printed up a small sketch booklet for each of the girls and showed them how to use a sketch to create a layout using more than one piece of paper... The girls found it really easy to follow the sketch cutting their papers to different shapes and layering...

Since our first Crop was so successful we have decided to hold a Mother/Daughter Crop every month...

Our next Mother/Daughter Crop is 20th March 2010

Time: 12.30pm-4.30pm

Cost: $5.00 per child (each child receives a scrap pack)

Drinks and Refreshments provided

This month we have two guest scrappers who have send us some gorgeous layouts... I especially love how Leigh has cut our the people and created a unique layout... Thank you Sarah and Leigh for sharing your layouts with us...
