Welcome to our August Newsletter

I hope all the kids have settled back into school after the school holidays... We had some great fun running our School Holiday classes, you will see some of their creations below...

We have already started planning for the September holiday program and will get our Calendar out a little earlier this time to give the mums more time to plan and book their kids into the classes...

August Classes Calendar

Kids Crop - Saturday 14th August - 12.30pm - 5.00pm

Cost - $5.00 per child

(This used to be Mother/Daughter Crop but since it''s just the kids scrapping we changed the name of it)

Don't forget to bring along your own scrapping supplies and tools for this class....

Beginners Class - Wednesday 18th August - 10.30am - 12.30pm

Cost - $15.00

Bring along some photos and we will supply all the other materials needed...

Ladies Crop Night - Saturday 28th August - 12.30pm until late......

Cost - $5.00

Wednesday Crop Morning - Every Wednesday - 10.00am onwards

Cost - FREE

A great social morning......

Handmade Cards

I've been busy making handmade cards for our card rack in the shop, it's been wonderful to see so many people loving our Handmade cards, and why not when their only $2.50 each... I thought each month l would share some of the ideas on our blog...

Off the Page

I made this cute Birthday Signature book for my little Nieces first birthday, the signature books are a great keepsake, l added photos of Ruby and pages for everyone to sign a special message... I also added extra pages for her mum and dad to add photos from the party, this way if can be something she can keep and look back on... You could also add pockets to store all the birthday cards in as well...

Kids Classes

One of our School Holiday classes was a Name Plaque class, this was a very popular class and great to see all the different designs the kids came up with...

Here are some layouts from our Mother/Daughter Crop... When we first started this crop we gave each of the kids a special Sketch Book with a variety of sketches for them to follow. It's great to see them bringing them along to each crop and using the sketches to create their layouts, and seeing them add their own touch to each sketch... A sketch is a great way for kids to get started, it helps them to learn how to layout their page using more than just the one piece of paper...
