Hi everyone!
I hope you have all have a great Easter so far :0)
Did the Easter Bunny visit your homes this morning? He certainly
made a few little kiddies happy over here ;0)
After the busy long weekend, we could all use a bit of R & R.....
how about having a go at our sketch challenge?
I got to work with the lovely Kaisercraft Lullaby collection.
The colours are so soft and pretty, perfect to scrap our
most precious new bundles of joy :0)
For my sketch example, I scrapped a photo of my son Corey
using the blue shades in this collection.
I wanted to add a bit of brightness to this layout so
I scrapped a photo that was rich in a contrasting colour - it's the
quickest way to draw the viewer's eye to the photograph ;0)
I also swapped the journaling and photograph spots as I wanted to tell a little story.
I distressed the edges and inked them with distress inks.
I added a title with American Craft thickers and embellished with
sweet little brads in the shape of a baby bottle - just ask Jo to add some
to your next order, they are too cute :0)
For my card, I stamped this little image by Prima. I coloured her in
with Copic markers and once again, used Lullaby collection to decorate it.
I've added some ribbon, Kaisercraft blooms, green Tara flowers and lace - all of which can be found in store!
I hope you all have a Wonderful Easter!
Enjoy the extra long weekend and don't
forget to e-mail your projects - we love to see all your creations!
Happy Easter everyone!
Monica
