May is the Month

Hello Everyone
It has been a while......
What a fantastic challenge for May........Jo never ceases to amaze me with the great little challenges she comes up with.
I was so lucky this month to be able to play around with the
Pink Paislee House of Three Daily Junque collection.
At first I wasn't so sure but now I just love it........I was pushed a little out of my comfort zone, again!! Thank you Jo.

The challenge was to......
* Use a title starting with 'M' - My title is 'Mum'
* Use three products starting with 'M' - My three products are: Mist, Mini Stamp, Memento Ink; Material ( I know - that is four!)
* Make something Handmade - I handmade my flower embellishments.

So, here is my layout:

Fabric Thickers, Doily, Pink Paislee - House of Three - Daily Junque: Tickets and Junque, White Bazzill Cardstock, My Minds Eye Paper Pad, Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels) - Brick, Crystalina Kindy Glitz, Copic Markers, Memento - Rich Cocoa Ink, Kaiser Mini Stamp - Flourish Bird, Kelly Panacci - Clear Stamp - Swirls, Material, Buttons, White Pearls.

I used Mist on the doily, Memento Ink on the edges of the layout, Material for the Handmade flowers and a Mini stamp - the flourish bird.
Here is the close up of my handmade flowers......

Love that Pink Paislee paper??? Well, grab it from Scrapbookit by following this link.

Now for my card. Well, as my focus is on writing school reports at the moment. I thought I would make a card that would boost the spirit's of anyone - male or female.
Simple.....don't you just love those cards that you can whip up 5 minutes before you need them!!

Black Bazzill Cardstock, Pink Paislee - House of Three - Daily Junque, My Minds Eye Paper Pad, iTop Brad Maker, Paper Bag Handle, staples.

Well, I hope you have found some inspiration from my challenge pieces. Make sure you get your entries into the Scrapbookit Gallery real soon by emailing Jo with your entry.
Can't wait to see what you come up with! xx
