Summer Time Is Here..........

I wish!!!!
It is a nice thought though. Why is it that I am always really happy to see Winter start but really happy when Summer starts too! As much as I love Summer I know that I will be whingeing when the 40 degree heat arrives!
It was so nice to pull out some of my Summer photos and sort through them....(if that is what you call it!) Thanks Jo for the opportunity!
My layout I have to share with you today is of my niece/god-daughter, Charlotte. 12 months ago Charlotte, Jenn (my sister) and Ted moved to the USA (Now little Miss Victoria is there too!) This photo was taken of Charlotte when they all went to a concert in the park for the Fourth of July celebrations.......well I think that is where they were!!!
Patterned Papers - Echo Park Paper Co.-Splash - Umbrellas; Mini Stripes; Sunshine; Borders. Other products: Echo Park Paper Co. - Splash - Element Cardstock Stickers; Alpha Cardstock Stickers; button, thread, Kaisercraft - Rhinestones (Deep Yellow); Organza Ribbon - Yellow; Versa Ink - Canary, Rose Red.

I was so excited to see the Echo Park 'Splash' paper in my kit from Jo this month. It is so bright and colourful.......just what you need on these cold Winter days. Grab it from Scrapbookit here.

How about that pinwheel??
My beautiful friend Jaine shared that little technique with me a few years ago! It is so easy!

Now for my card. This was literally made in no more than 20 mins. I think it is quite cute and could be used for male or female.

Patterned Papers - Echo Park Paper Co.-Splash - Big Stripes, Journalling Cards. Other products: Echo Park Paper Co. - Splash - Element Cardstock Stickers; Alpha Cardstock Stickers; Cardstock - Tulip - Core-dinations; toothpicks; Kaisercraft - Rhinestones (Deep Yellow).

While we are on the 'bright papers' theme I thought I would share with you a layout I did a few months ago that I have never shared. This was one of the first times I delved into using bright papers and rather stoked with the results.

Thanks for looking today and don't forget to pop on down to or jump online to check the fantastic selection of goodies Jo has in store and online....www.scrapbookit.com.au.

Until next time,
