Another look at Authentique!

Hi Everyone,

What a great month of challenge examples we have seen already! Well done to the new members of the team for the wonderful inspiration you have provided us.

I have continued to play with the gorgeous Authentique Genuine Collection and am here to share with you another layout and a another Mother's Day card.
Hopefully these will inspire you to get your entry in to Jo for your chance to win some great prizes from Scrapbookit!

First of all my layout. Whilst I haven't included any flowers....I have included a quote and some twine.
The photo is of my Dad with Brayden when Brayden was only 7 months old. Don't you just ♥ those paper collections that suit both feminine and masculine pages!

Can you believe it though??......I have completed a double layout!!

I have used a variety of the gorgeous Authentique Genuine papers coupled with Kraft card stock.
To take away the plainness of the Kraft I used some bubble wrap and Navy paint to add some texture.

It must have been the layout to renew the 'old' e.g. double layout as I have also used some eyelets. I have used them in a circle shape and a feature on the left hand page.

Here are some close ups...

Now for another Mother's Day card...

Again, I have used the gorgeous Authentique Genuine collection, some ribtex twine, Kaiser mini paper blooms and the gorgeous Element and Detail stickers from Authentique.

Here is a close up...

Quote: "A mother's heart is a patchwork of love."

Well I hope that you have enjoyed my share today - don't forget to get your entries in by the 14th!

Have a great week everyone,
