Today is also a very Sweet Day......

Hello Everyone....

Yes it is Rebecca back again to share my last layout from my latest Scrapbookit DT kit. My kit was full of really vibrant  Sweet Day range by Echo Park. This range has been so much fun to work with and I will also mention very versatile.

I loved getting my sewing machine out to stitch on all my layouts. Short story about my sewing machine. I purchased a cheap Brother sewing machine in the January sales this year, I purchased it only for scrapbooking and card making purposes (I cannot sew material, I would not have a clue where to start). When I went to pay for the machine the lady asked me if I would like to purchase some patterns, I told her that would never be necessary. When I told her I was using the machine for scrapbooking she looked disgusted, truly disgusted. My point (yes there is one), if you have a sewing machine, give it a go, it is super easy to sew on paper even when it is layered. And maybe you don't have a sewing machine, get our your paper piercer and some embroidery cotton. Stitching adds some amazing dimension.

Thank you all for stopping by our blog today, have a crafty weekend, try something new!!

  2. Just gorgeous Bec.....I LOVE sewing (not with material) but my machine has died....am trying to convince Jason to buy me one just for scrapbooking....maybe he has been talking to the lady in your shop????? So, yes at the moment I am back to paper piercing and thread......this is great but sometimes you just want to get it done and the machine is great for that.
Again, you have done a wonderful job with this range....beautiful photo too! Thanks for sharing lovely xxxx
