Believe

Welcome everyone to my second Scrapbookit post for the month.
What a month it has been and it is coming to a close way too fast.
There seems too be a lot agreeing with me this year. Maybe because
we are all getting older the years seem to go faster.

How exciting though has the month been. As you all know Cindy Porter
joined the team (welcome Cindy) I know you will love your time with Jo
and us at Scrapbookit.

But Jo had too keep the good things coming. She also announced there
will be a guest designer each month. Makes it interesting and fun.

But there is no way Jo was going to stop at that. Woohoo the retreat
date was posted. Make sure you get your name in if you can make it.

Ok ladies now for my post. I have just loved the range of papers I got to
work with this month. After completing the months challenge I then got
to work on a couple of other things. The first I would like to show you
is a card I made.

It is a simple card. Made with Kaiser card stock, pearls and of course
patterned papers from "The Looking Glass Collection". The only bit
extra is the Martha Stewart punch. The butterflys are from the
collectables pack and I used my dimension tabs. Oh my goodness I
didn't fussy cut :) As I said simply done.

The next I wont too show you is a door knob hanger which is also from
Kaiser Craft and again I have decorated it with the "The Looking Glass
Collection"

But true to what you see in a lot of my work, yes I have fussy cut
Alice out. But if you don't like too fussy cut there is plenty you can
use in this range, just like all ranges of Kaiser. For Meghans name I
used Thickers chipboard letters and colored them with red Kaiser ink.
Over the top of that I used crystal glitz. Around the edge I used a little
Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Black Soot and then a little of the Kaiser red
ink. Then again with the glitz I places some dots on the edge. At the top
is another butterfly and I have fussy cut that as well. You don't have too
fussy cut any butterfly's if you don't want too as the collectables pack has
plenty in it.

Now for my final project for this posting, a LO of the beautiful Miss Meghan.
This is where I got my title for this post. But also these papers remind me so
much that we all need to Believe.

By now you must be sick off all the reading so I will simply list the
products I have used.
Kaiser Craft -  "The Looking Glass Collection"
Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Rusty Hinge & Picket Fence
Kaiser Ink - Brown
Thickers Letters - Chestnut
Kaiser Stencil - Wheat
Texture paste
Inks - Yellow & Green
Kaiser Rubon - After five Collection
Journal Pen.

I have been busy this month but have had a lot off fun. I do hope you
have all been able to do the same. Remember too keep in mind that time
is fast running out now to get your LO in for this months challenge, which
is an awesome one as well. Not to mention the prize you may win from Jo.

As always check out the Scrapbookit store for all you will need to create
stunning layouts, cards, off the page and many other craft projects. Until my
next post, happy crafting and enjoy checking out the other ladies work as
they post. There will be some awesome inspiration coming your way.

Hugs Brenda.
