A Mothers Love (cant be measured)

Hello ladies I'm here again with my second post for February. I hope you like this LO I have created. At the moment most of you will know I have been busy with my mum who is ill with cancer. Horrid word, even more horrid illness. I'm so happy to say though she is at home now with us and her fight or should I say battle continues.

We have a truly wonderful design team at Scrapbookit who have been ready to jump in for me and cover my deadlines or for anything more I could need them to do. Thank you so much Jo, Mel and Cindy, you are beautiful people and I love you's very much.

As I said last post I just love this kit from Fancy Pants Designs. My last post was quite busy and I thought I would tone this one done just a little so you could see the differences. Also because my beautiful friend Mel's son Jack is in the photo with her. Maybe not the flower shabby chick thing :)

I just love this photo of Mel and Jack her eldest son and this range of papers I think went beautiful with the photo. I have used the Kaiser Craft Hessian stamp very lightly in the back ground with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot. Just here and there on the patterned paper.

The chippie is from WOW and I just love it. Every time I look at the photo though I'm now not sure if it should say A Mothers Love or A Sons Love. The one thing I do know is that a mothers cant be measured <3. I chose to color it with my Copic pen. and then covered it with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint - Clear Rock Candy. The small rub-on is from Kaiser Craft.

Besides the couple of things I spoke of and my journal pen, this whole page has been created from the patterned papers and the sticker sheet. As you would remember from my last layout for the sketch you get Tape sticker sheet, Sticker fundamentals sheet Label sticker sheet and the Alpha sticker sheet. All with the 12 sheets of patterned double sided papers. Its a great kit to create with. If its busy like my last or more quiet like this layout it is all there.

Now please ladies don't forget to get your designs in for the challenge. We are all looking forward to seeing your creations. Then I know you will be looking forward to seeing who the lucky person is that wins a great prize from Scrapbookit.

Don't forget to pop into the Scrapbookit Store for everything us DT girls use on our creations each month and more. If you can't find it just email Jo. She is so lovely and helpful and will have what you need in the mail on it's way in no time.

RETREAT, YES RETREAT....I Just had to write it big. One month away and this scraper is so excited. I hope you have booked your spot. I went to my first one for Scrapbookit last year and had the best time. Please ladies don't be like I was and fill the car with everything but the kitchen sink. Jo has her store there and you will be able to pick up plenty and also get some great bargains. I brought, used and ended up taking home everything else and had hardly touched any of it.

Anyway I have talked enough. Happy Crafting.
Let those you love know it and I will see you again next month before retreat.
Hugs Brenda xx
