Tania back here with you today to share my last post for this month. I have moved away from the challenge requirements for my second post and created a couple of different projects one being a BTP project and the other a set of quick and easy cards.
My first project is using one of Kaisers new Wooden Chalk Board's - how perfect is the 2 Cool 4 School Range for this BTP project??
I started by painting all my edges and one side of the Chalk Board with Kaiser Deep Yellow Paint. Once dry I have covered both sides of the Chalk Board with 2 Cool 4 School Patterned papers. I have embellished the front with matching Collectables and finished of my project by running Kaiser Black Rhinestone Strips around the edges of the front of the Chalk Board.
My second project is a set of quick and easy cards which I basically made using left over pieces of the 2 Cool 4 School Papers and Collectables.
As you can see by the close ups below I have used several different pieces of the patterned paper and attached them to the card base. On each card you can see some of my papers look like banners - a simple way to make these is too fold the bottom of your paper in half and cut a triangle out. Make sure you start at the outside and cut into the centre where the fold of your paper is. Once I had attached my chosen papers I then embellished the cards with matching Collectables and finished off with some Kaiser Black Rhinestones. I like to give my cards a 3D effect which is a little hard to see from the photos but I normally raise the banners papers on my cards and always raise the Collectables or Die Cuts used.
As you can see by the close up photos below these card are very simple but are a great way to use up scraps of paper and bits and pieces that you have lying around.
Well that's all for me today, I hope I have provided you with lots of inspiration. All these yummy products I have used today are all available from Jo. Don't forget to jump over to the blog and check out what the other DT girls have been up too and remember you still have a few days to join in with this months Tic Tac Toe Challenge.
Until next time. Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting,
