Love Always...

Hello and Welcome to our February Challenge
I have been privileged to set the challenge for February
I have had so much fun with the challenge this month and I hope you all Love it as well!
I have used a Sketch designed by the lovely Laura Whitaker from www.scrappinaroundtheclock.blogspot.com
I have also added a few little extras just to make the challenge a bit more fun :)

So as well as using the above design I would also like to see Included
*A touch of Gold
*Some Washi Tape
AND to include a song title somewhere on the page!
This doesn't have to be in the title it can be in your journaling, title, anywhere you like!!
Here is my Layout...I have used the song title Heart of Gold.

I have been lucky enough to use the Beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Love Always paper range.
If you haven't checked out Jo's online shop www.scrapbookit.com.au you really should Jo's prices and range are far better than any of the bigger shop's and you will also be supporting an AWESOME small business that we are SO Lucky to have available to us!
The Love Always range is so easy to work with and just Gorgeous for any type of photo, I have used this picture of my daughter Rahni ready for her Ballet Concert.
I couldn't decide on which pattern paper to use because I loved them all so I basically used a little of everything. On my black and white spotted background page I used some Tim Holtz distress ink in Victorian Velvet with a Kaisercraft stamp, I then used my Kaisercraft circle die and then on top of that I added my little doily which I inked with some of the Metallic Gilding Wax in Frosted Aqua. If you haven't tried this wax you really need to it can be used for anything and the colours are amazing.
In the top right corner I have added my yellow Washi Tape as well as some thick chipboard stickers in the same range.

I have also used a strip of aqua Washi Tape down the left hand side of the page. All of the other little embellishments, puffy stickers, accessory stickers and flair buttons I have scattered across the page.
Jo at www.scrapbookit.com.au has this whole range as well as all of the extras available to purchase on her online shop.

As my splash of Gold I have used a few little gold stars from my stash as well as the gold lettering in my title.
I hope that you all get some inspiration from my challenge and have some fun with it. I look forward seeing what you all come up with.
Did you know that you can enter our challenges by posting a photo on Jo's Scrapbookit page or the Scrapbookit Facebook Community page.
You can also view the other entrants work there and gain some inspiration from that as well.
Jo's crop day will be on again this month and is a great day of cropping as well as doing a little shopping while you are there!

I will be back a little bit later in the month with another layout I have done using the Coca Vanilla Love Always Paper Collection..

A BIG Happy Birthday to our fellow Design team member Mel! We hope you had a great day..

Until next time Happy Scrapping
Jane xx
