Morning Everyone!

I am back this morning, as promised, to share with you another layout using the gorgeous Simple Stories collection Sunshine & Happiness.
However, this layout has a masculine twist.

This collection is so adaptable to your subject. There are some wonderful double sided papers that are not gender or theme specific. I have had a go with these to create this layout of my boy and I.

I have used a variety of the different patterned papers as well as some washi tape to create this layout.
I have then used two different Kaiser templates, one with Colour Blast Embossing Powder - Dusty Charcoal and the other with Colour Blast Colour Paste - Sunshine and sprinkles of the Colour Blast Dusty Charcoal Embossing Powder.

I have also used a variety of stamps to add the 'grungy, masculine' touch.
My title and some of the embellishments have come from the sticker sheets that are part of the Sunshine & Happiness collection.

Here are some close ups...

I have finished off with some black elastic to create a circle feature to highlight my photo.

I love collections that allow you to be so versatile in your creations.
I hope that you have entered your project for this months challenge. Time is running out! Be sure to get it in by the end of the month.

Don't forget all of the products that I have used here and any seen this month can be purchased at Scrapbookit If you can't find what you need in the online store, be sure to email Jo to see if she can help you out.

Have a great end to the month.
Less than a month before Christmas!

A Little More Sunshine & Happiness

Morning Everyone...

The weeks are flying by aren't they? It is such a busy time of the year for all of us. I hope that you are keeping your head above water at this busy time.

Before I share my projects with you I just wanted to say...

Congratulations to Jo!
This week she has become a Grandma (again) to a gorgeous little girl Zahli! She is just gorgeous Jo...we can't wait to see all of the layouts you create with the gorgeous photos of Zahli.

Well, much to my surprise I have had so much fun playing with the gorgeous Simple Stories collection 'Sunshine & Happiness.' All of that brightness, colour and PINK has given me much joy!
Not to mention the great sketch that Jane has chosen for us this month.

Don't forget to check the side panel and the Scrapbookit Gallery for the entries that we have received so far this month. If you haven't got yours in yet...you only have 7 days to get it submitted...so get to it!

Here is another layout that I have created using my Simple Stories collection and the challenge sketch...'this makes my heart smile'

I really enjoyed creating this layout. I had challenged my self, secretly, to use some 'busier' papers especially as the background, rather than my regular cardstock background. Whilst this was a challenge...I am so pleased with the way this one turned out.

You may notice that I have spread a thin layer of gesso over the background to tone down the brightness of the paper. I did this so that my cluster of flowers and embellishments wouldn't get lost in the background.

I fussy cut flowers from the pattern paper and used some of the flowers from the sticker sheet to create the base for my embellishment cluster. I have added a gorgeous Burlap White Flower and some little flowers, hearts, a butterfly and a tag from the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Bits and Pieces collection.

My title 'This makes my heart smile' has been created using the letters from the alpha sticker page from the Simple Stories collection. I have also added some little sayings from the sticker sheet as well.

Here are some close ups...

I finished off this layout adding some little sequins randomly around the page from the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Bits and Pieces collection.

For a bit of fun and to use up some pieces from the Sunshine & Happiness collection I have created some very basic cards to brighten someone's day.

I have combined some more of the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Bits and Pieces with the Sunshine & Happiness Simple Stories collection to create the card below...

How gorgeous is that flower? It is from the Flourish With a Bling - Elise, Silver embellishments.

I hope that you have found something in what I have created to inspire you...

I will be back in a few days to share with you another layout I have created using this collection - but this time with a little masculine twist.

Happy Scrapping
