Echo Park -Springtime

Hello everyone !!!

Tina here sharing with you my take on the sketch challenge this month !!!

As you may know I love working with sketches, sometimes I may copy it exactly and other times I may just twist and turn it a bit and that I think is the beauty of a sketch , you can use it as a starting point when you scrap and then completely make it yours in the end !

This time I choose to flip it around a bit ......

Using some gorgeous Echo Park - Spring Time papers ,

the whole collection is just beautiful and I'm really loving the soft pastel colours.

And a close up of the flowers !!

The large green one is from Kaiser and suit the papers just beautifully !! The purple one are some rolled up flowers Ive made from scraps. Very easy to make just cut out a circle and then cut a spiral into it. You can distress or ink the edges and then just start rolling the spiral starting from the end. Add some glue, let it set and use it on your layout.

And Finally this is my take on the card sketch using more of the beautiful

I have to confess I have never used a card sketch before , it's a whole new experience for me but I tell you what it was great fun.

The flower is another handmade piece , also very easy to make

just cut a strip of paper , use some decorative scissors or a punch along the edge, ink and start folding an accordion fold. Attach the end pieces together and flip it up. Secure with a glue dot and you are all done.

Cant wait to see your take on these sketches !!

Have fun !!!! Happy Scrapping and card making everyone ;0)

Until next time .........

xx Tina
