Popcorn box

Good morning!!
It's a bleak day here in Brisbane and Boy is it cold....
Brrrrrrrrrrrr....

I have a little project to share with you all.
I have a collection of party favour bags and boxes in my pantry and while
cleaning them out I found one shaped like a popcorn box.
After I pulled it apart, I used it as a template to make some for my kiddies!
Who doesn't love popcorn after all???

First Trace around the template using a pencil on the desired
surface. i used Coredinations cardstock which
you can find here . Be sure to ask Jo
what colours she has in the shop next time you place an order ;0)

Next cut out your popcorn box and carefully fill in the score lines using a ruler.
Then fold along the score lines with a bone folder or scoring tool.
I find this is a good time to ink the edges of your project. Do so with
your choice of ink colour.

Now you simply have to adhere patterned paper to the sides of the popcorn box.
I've kept it pretty simple as little hands will be handling it.

Use circle punches and die cuts to create an interesting background
for a little image. I use Kaisercarft Party Animals "Tiger" stamp. Check
out the great selection of stamps and mini stamps here .

I've coloured in my Tiger with Copic Markers, find them here .

Finally trim images from patterned paper and add as embellishments.
Also don't forget a name to avoid confusion and arguments
between children ;0)
I've used a Dymo labeler to add my son's name...and yes
I am slightly addicted to it lol!

Pretty easy hu?
The whole thing took me about an hour and 20 minutes.

( I just hope they last longer than that he he...)

Thanks for popping in!
Hugs
Monica
xoxo
