After the first round of posts by the our wonderful design team, Mel put a fabulous
second post with that wonderful authentique range . I am here to extend the fun with
another project using the authentique celebrate range.
I have stepped away from the traditional 12 x 12 layout that I did with this range for my first post and completed an off the page project.
I had a couple of great shots from my sons 6th birthday this year and have made a
hinged photo mount.
This can be a great way to display special photos.
I started with two pieces of chip board and covered it with kaiser cardstock
in white and sea foam colors. Inked the edges with Tim holtz distress in ( vintage photo )
but you can use any ink of your choice.
I chose to double mat my photos slightly distressing the second mat with my distress tool and inking the first mat in the same color as the background. I have used two patterned papers
from the collection as well as stickers from the elements sheet and the remainder of
my kaiser flowers.
I loved making this project, don't forget to get your entries in to the april / may challenge and I look forward to heading over to the gallery to see your creations.
Cheers, Andrew
