i love you's

 Hello everyone.
This is my first posting as one of the members of  Jo's Design Team at Scrapbookit. I must say it is an honor to be part of the team with Jo, Mel and Ruby. I'm looking forward to the next six months and showing you some of my work. Lets hope it doesn't go too fast.

I try a lot to work out what my style would be....I love all boy, Shabby Chick and Vintage. To be honest though I love trying a lot of different things as long as I'm scraping, card making or off the paging. It doesn't matter. I love it all.

Enough about me though. I'm sure over the next six months you are going to get to know me through my work. Everything  I use on my projects you will be able to get from Jo's store along  with a lot more.      http://www.scrapbookit.com

This is my take on this months Sketch Challenge. The two very handsome boys in the layout are my Sons Riley and Harley. The photos were taken at the Blue Lakes, Mt Gambier.

On the cream Kaiser card stock I used Artiste Acrylic Rouge paint. I think the way the paint looks when painted lightly on the textured card stock looks great. The patterned paper I got to work with were just awesome. They are Fancy Pants Designs - Anchors Away, Down by the Shore. They are stunning papers. Flowers, stripes, spots and lovely matching colors on the reverse.

As you can see by the close look I love using punches and dies. Jo has a great range in her store so if there is something you don't see just contact her. I have also used Thickers letters. I love them. The badge is also from the Fancy pants range. If using them on a beach LO you would have 5 more
to choose from. The flowers I have cut from the papers.

The black lace look washi tape and red ribbon worked so well on this page of my boys. It went well with one being in black and one in red. So as you can see I have added the two extra requirements for this months challenge, so don't forget them will you. Also if you want pop on over to my blog and
check me out a little more. I would love to see you there.

I hope you have enjoyed my first post with Scrapbookit. Don't forget to have a look at the store and remember if there is something you want but don't see it, ask Jo. Good luck.
For all the Mums have a great Mothers Day and Scrap Happy.
Hugs Brenda
