Summer Love.

The other day I found myself quickly needing to craft up a present for a friend. I looked around me in frustration, why had I not planned this earlier? Simple Stories offered a quick and easy solution. Their papers are bright and decorative, already measured in a variety of different sizes for your Project Life pages, mini albums and/or scrapbooks. I decided to brighten up and personalise an old notebook I had in my drawer. I mounted this cutting from the I{HEART}SUMMER collection onto cardstock and inked the edges of the notebook. Such great gifts and so simple! I think sometimes with notebooks, it's hard not to go over the top with beautiful embellishments and flowers and papers- something like this is perfect to shove into a bag without a worry of pieces falling off and getting damaged.
I used the smaller pieces from this paper to make personalised cards. They're the perfect size to attach to a small gift.
Another easy and simple way to use this paper separate from your scrapbooks is by making little posters. This one I scanned in so that, when the months roll 'round, I can make this my background on my iPhone.
This one is being stuck above my housemates' collection of thongs. Being right near the beach means that we have copious pairs!
And that's all from me today! I hope Winter is treating you well,
Ruby xx

  2. Love what you have done with the old notebook Ruby. Beautiful range of papers. The notebook is going to be loved and the cards you have created are so nice. Love them all but the hooked on you and Break out the flip flops are my picks.
