As promised I'm back already with another LO using the Echo Park range - A Perfect Summer.
This kit is just beautiful. So bright and vibrant. Like my LO for our monthly challenge it has everything you could ask for. The great thing though is it has been done from the same kit. Yes, the same kit. There is so much in it.
This layout is of my son Harley at the beach. He was digging a hole a little higher up on the beach and was going back and forth to fill his little bucket with water to fill his hole.
My little flags were made from the element sticker sheet and I have stuck them to tooth picks. The card stock and the inked clock stencil are Kaiser Craft, and as always you only have to click at the top of the blog or on this link Scrapbookit Store and everything you need to make a layout like mine or similar is there. Joanne has a great store and there is so much to choose from. If you don't see what you want just email her. I do...hehe...and in no time I have my answer, picked out what I want and the mail man brings it too me. I love to shop this way.
I have taken this closeup so you can see how I have done my inking around the edges. I think this helps to make each piece stand out while at the same time keeping the cluster effect. This range was great for summer being bright and cheerful. For me though the added bonus is my son Harley is a very colorful boy.
I hope you have found that my second LO this month has been able to bring some bright thoughts into your day after the wet cold weather we have been having in Victoria the last few days. Well I have been anyway. Great weather to get away with keeping warm in the craft room. So as you can guess I will have something else this month for you to have a look at. But until then, enjoy the blog and everyone's work, keep warm and happy crafting.
