Growing Up

Hello ladies and welcome once again to the Scrapbookit blog.
it is my turn to post my take on the awesome sketch by Leah.
I love the design and had so much fun with it. As you can see
I chose to flip the sketch over.

I was so lucky with my kit from Jo this month. It is a kit that I just
loved everything that was in it. The kit is from Fancy Pants Designs.
Its the Collecting Moments kit and it comes with 12 double sided 12x12
patterned papers, Label sticker sheet, Tape sticker sheet, Fundamentals
sticker sheet, Alpha sticker sheet and also a 12x12 Navy and Grey
corrugated sheet. There is no way I couldn't be squealing when I got this.

The flowers I have used are from Manor House (Scrapbookit has a
very good range to choose from) and the buds are Kaiser and I have
used some green Kaiser paint on the ends just to blend them in a little
more with the papers. The leaves have been cut from a die and I inked
the edges lightly with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. The clock
and butterfly chippie are both from Kaiser Craft. The dots from the
butterfly are Ranger Perfect Pearls.

The birdbath is Twiddleybitz Which I have painted with Kaiser Cream and
the grass with Green. I then applied Ranger Distress Crackle Paint. The title
are Black Thickers.

I have made my journal tag from a embossing die and lightly inked
the edge so the embossing would stand out more. The rub-on is also
from Kaiser Craft. The bingo cards behind my baby picture I have cut
from on of the 12x12 patterned papers.

I hope you have enjoyed my post and that between it and the sketch you
are inspired to join in our February Challenge. You could well be the
lucky winner of a great prize from Jo.

Remember that this beautiful paper kit and the other items I have used
in this LO are all available through the Scrapbookit store. If you dont
see it just email Jo. Jo will be able to help you out with all the things
 you would need.

I would normally say happy crafting but this time I'm going to say I hope
you have lots of fun with the challenge.
Hugs Brenda
