Hello Ladies, it's Brenda here today, bringing you my
take on the May Challenge set by our Guest DT
Jenn Seymour. I loved this challenge.
I hope you have been looking at the other DT layouts
for inspiration and are well underway with your entry.
You could well be this months winner of an awesome
prize from Jo.
Now for my take on the challenge. I was so lucky this month
to receive from Jo the Prima - Free Spirit Collection. They are
such beautiful papers.
This photo is of my Grandfathers flower and bulb farm. Acres
of beautiful Gladioli and Irises every year along with many other
variety's of plants. He sold the bulbs all over the world and he
was well known.
The doily is a lace sticker from Prima. It is just beautiful and to get
it to show up so nicely I placed it on a piece of grey cardstock and
cut it out. The Prima papers are such beautiful pale colors I didn't
want the doily sticker lost in them. The lovely silver butterfly's are
also available in store at Scrapbookit.
The large and medium flower are by Manor House and the
small ones I made with Kaiser Craft Paper flowers. I have
made the leaves with a die and inked the edges.
The letters for my title are by Kaiser craft. The ink I used on the
edge of my papers is also by Kaiser - Bark. The final thing I did
was to put my journal around the edge of the card stock.
I hope you have enjoyed what I created this month and I will have
another LO or something to share with you again soon. Please keep
coming back. Also remember to check out the store. Jo has so much
at wonderful prices, it really is a one stop shop and I love that.
Happy scrapping.
Hugs Brenda
