Welcome everyone to my first post here at Scrapbookit for August.
What a great challenge we have running at the moment!
Jo has set our challenge this month.
It is a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.
Here is the game board...
All you need to do is pick one line - horizontal, vertical or diagonal and use those features in your layout.
It's that easy!
I have chosen the Teal - Celebrate - Black/White diagonal.
Here is what I have come up with...
This month all of the team are using the 'Pebbles 12x12 Birthday Paper Pad'
This is a great set of papers and there are some great tags and labels that you can use too to complement your work.
The photo I have used is of Brayden and my Nan (his Great Nan) from last weekend when we celebrated her 85th birthday.
I started with a piece of 'Coconut' Kaisercard. I used the gorgeous ManorHouse die cut card as a template and sprayed using the Heidi Swapp Colourshine 'Teal' mist. I have then used that die cut, cutting it apart, to use as a feature.
I then used small parts of the patterned papers, in teal. I have also used a piece of 'Licorice' Kaisercard behind the photo. I then cut some of the tags and labels to take away the plainness of the plain black card.
I have also used the journalling component of the tic tac toe.
I used some Kaisercraft Pearls in teal for bling, some Kaisercraft flowers and I have made my own brads using my Imaginesce iTop.
So all in all...only a few things I haven't included - which YES! you can do.
All of these products (excluding the iTop) can be found in store @ Scrapbookit. Why not give Jo a call or send her an email and get cracking on this month's challenge?
While you are there why not pop your name down for the Retreat?
It should be heaps of fun.
Can't wait to see your challenge entries.
