Hello everyone and welcome as always to the Scrapbookit
Blog. Brenda here again with my second post for the month.
I have chose to go again with the challenge that Jo set. I'm
one that has many, many celebration photos to scrap and the
patterned papers that we have all brought to you this month
are just awesome for that. They are the 12x12 Pebbles
Birthday Paper Pad.
From Tic-Tac-Toe this time I chose to use the
Teal - Journaling - Flowers
Now for my take using these three squares.
This LO is of two of my friends daughter, Rachael on the left and
Meghan on the right. They are both such lovely girls and best friends.
I love these patterned papers as the colors are so nice and bright,
just perfect for birthdays. I chose to use my teal with light blue
spots patterned paper to create my LO on. With both The other
patterned paper I used dies and then inked them with Distress Ink
Walnut Stain. Don't forget that Sizzix have a great range of dies and
embossing folder and Jo can get them all. This sure does add to the
fun of Scrapbooking and card making.
The lovely ornate white frame is by Manor House along and
they are well worth getting. There just stunning. The flowers are
by Manor House and Kaiser and I have used a little of the Distress
Ink - Walnut Stain on them. The birthday cakes have been fussycut
from the patterned papers.
As you can see I have chose to do my journaling on my computor
and the have cut it out after printing it on the patterned paper.
On the orange paper "it's your day to celebrate" was cut from the
patterned papers.
For this cluster it is again the same flowers by Manor House and
Kaisercraft and coming from behind them a Sizzix die banner.
This die set can actually make 10 different designs but I have only
used four of them.
Well I hope you have liked my latest layout and getting to see some
more creations by all the design team this month from the very same
patterned papers the 12x12 Pebbles Birthday Paper Pad. It is truly
amazing how much can be done with them. Don't forget that all we
use is available through the Scrapbookit store along with thousands
of other wonderful products.
Please don't be afraid to ask Jo for anything you might be looking for
and may not see. Thee is also time still to join in on this great challenge
and maybe win an awesome prize.
Happy crafting
hugs Brenda
