Mixed Media Bloom Girl Canvas

Hello and Happy Sunday!

Tania here today to share with you my second post for this month - another Mixed Media Piece this time a canvas.  I had so much fun getting messy with this project :)

I started my canvas by firstly giving it a coat of gesso.  I then randomly sprayed different colours of Dylusions sprays onto the canvas.  As the dylusions are very vibrant in colour I also sprayed water over them and dabbed off some of the colour with a paper towel as I wanted a softer look.  Once my canvas was dry I then grabbed my Bloom Girl Stencil and with Black Gesso painted her onto my canvas.  Once the Bloom Girl image was dry (I used a heat gun in each step to dry the canvas quicker) I used one of the Prima 6 x 6 Stencils and randomly applied texture to it around some of the edges.   Using another Prima Stencil this time I applied some Crystalina Glitzin Glamour to it.  I just love the way it has turned out over the different Dylusion Colours on the canvas.  Using the Tarnished Brass Distress Paint I randomly dabbed it around the edges of my canvas.

I have then finished off  by embellishing with a Collectable Quote from the "Close Up" Range and some Kaiser and Green Tara Flowers.  Lastly I have placed some Kaiser Rhinestones around the outside of my canvas.

If you are wanting any of the products I have used here today on my canvas they are all available from Jo and the Scrapbookit Store.

Well that's all for my today,  would love to see you play along with this months challenge.

Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting,

Tania xx
