Welcome everyone,
Here we go with our last challenge for 2014. I would like to take this opportunity to say Thankyou to my Team and all of customer's that have joined in with our challenges this year, I think you will agree we have showcased some awesome work on our Blog. I look forward to sharing and inspiring you all again in 2015.
So for our December challenge Lynn Good has chosen this sketch from Sketchy Thursday's with the added criteria of using the word 'Celebrate', 'Congratulations' or 'Fun'. Entries are due on 30th Dec and you can e-mail joanne@scrapbookit.com.au or use our linky on the blog.
One of advantages of being 'the boss' I get to choose what paper range I get to play with and this month I new I sooooo wanted to play with this new range from 'Kaisercraft' called 'Sandy Toes'. I had these fantastic photo's of my girls at Anglesea from their holiday with their big sister . This range was just made for them.
My 1st layout is my challenge page using the sketch and the word 'Fun'.
My second layout I have used a WOW Stencil and some Gel Medium to give the page some clear texture. I also added some 'Viva Croco Paint' for a different texture. The flowers are 'HeidiSwapp' Die cuts sprayed with 'Colour Shine' (sorry about the glare) but they are just so shimmery.
I hope you all get some time to create in the festive season, please call back to see DT creations this month.
Happy scrapping
Jo Caird
Oh wow Jo. Love both layouts but the first one sure does rock. The back ground is just awesome. It reminds me of a wave breaking just like in the pic. xxx
