Hi there!
Tania here with you to share my first post for 2015!! Firstly I would just like to wish you all a very Happy New Year's, I hope you all had a fabulous time celebrating with family and friends.
So today my layout to share with you is using the Tic Tac Toe board, this month the task was set by the lovely Brenda and can I just say it was a challenge for me but I had so much fun! In my kit this month I was sent the new "2 Cool 4 School Range" from Kaiser. Such a fabulous range but I think where it challenged me most was that is was outside my comfort zone of the normal girlie colours I normally use. But who doesn't love a challenge and as you can see I have still managed to add my girlie touch to it by adding some pretty flowers :)
So from the board I chose to use Chipboard, Die Cuts and a Stencil.
I have kept my layout simpler this month as the background paper I used was already fairly detailed and I found I didn't need to add too much. I started by spraying Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Black through the Tim Holtz Number Stencil and then randomly dropped splats onto my page. I have used some Wow Chipboard "Grade 3" and painted it with Kaiser paint. I took several of the cut outs from the Technology Paper and matted them to the side of the photo. As I mentioned above I couldn't help myself and had to add some pretty Kaiser and Green Tara Blooms! I finished off my layout by adding some matching Die Cuts from the "2 Cool 4 School" Range.
I have added some close ups below :)
Well that's all from me today, I hope I have inspired you to join in with this month's fabulous challenge, and don't forget there is always an awesome prize up for grabs!!!
Just a reminder all the gorgeous goodies I have used here today are all available from the Scrapbookit store so pop on over to have a look.
Enjoy your day!
Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting,
Tania xx

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome layout. When reading I thought it was me who challenged you the most, but no it was your kit from Jo hehe. I must say Jo can be good at that at times but it does add to the fun and you nailed it. Love the Kaiser papers, just perfect for the piles of school pics. xxx
