Morning Everyone!
What a beautiful morning it is.
We are on retreat at Jamel Lodge and are having a lovely time. So relaxing, lots of laughs and plenty of scrapbooking!!
Today is my turn to post for this months challenge. What a great challenge it is!
Jo has set the challenge this month and the DT girls have shared some beautiful layouts and projects using the criteria.
Before I do though I need to announce the winner from last months challenge.
CONGRATULATIONS
KERRY PACE!
Please contact Jo and she will organise for your prize for you!
Now for this months challenge.
The criteria for this month is to use the 3 criteria as part of your project....
Gold, the quote as your title and the sketch.
I was so lucky this month to receive the Bo Bunny 'Star Crossed' collection to work with.
These papers are just so gorgeous and so versatile.
Here is my layout...
I have used the 'Star Crossed Novel' for the background and have also used the 'Star Crossed' dotty background. The gorgeous lace heart, hot air balloon and quote "We don't need all the answers to live happily ever after" are part of this page.
As you can see I have followed the sketch rather closely for this page.
I have also used Kaisercraft Alpha Stickers in red and black for the quote as my title.
The gold I have included in several places on my page.
Firstly, I randomly spread some moulding paste on the background and dried it with my heat gun. I then added some Versamark ink and some 'Gold Nugget' Metallic Melts and heated them.
I have also used the 'Gold Nugget' Metallic Melts on the WOW Simply Messy Frames in the right hand corner.
Finally, I created a little triangular banner with some Bo Bunny paper and 'Gold Nugget' Metallic Melts.
Here are some close ups...
Well, that is all from me today. I am off to scrap till my hearts content.
What are you doing this weekend? Are you able to get some scrap time in?
Why not join in our challenge and be in with the chance to win a prize from Scrapbookit?
Until next time,
Mel x
