G'day!!! :D

It's Chantal Vandenberg here! I'm am so THRILLED to be on such a wonderful design team here at Scrapbookit, and to be working with such top-of-the-range scrapbooking products, available in store!!! I was totally stoked when I received my DT parcel with lots of the Ellie's Tale collection from Sassafras Lass - my very favourite brand!!!

Here's my layout example based on the current March/April Sketch challenge using the gorgeous products from my DT kit...

Don't you just love the sweet colours in this range? I sure do! My base cardstock is from Core'dinations (tulip colour) and I've doodled along two of the edges by using my ruler and marking out the measurements by hand... something different and fun! I've doodled around the other two edges with a fun spaghetti strand - just playing on the theme! :D

I've used some of the awesome cardstock stickers from Sassafras too - I had two sheets; one had 20 stickers and the other has 24 stickers, so LOTS to play with. I really liked using one of the journalling stickers as a photo matte. ;)

I love the Sassafras cardstock alphabet stickers too - you get sooo many letters with them which I'm sure all you scrappers would agree is a real bonus!!! The colour is called "cool grey" and it'll go with everything - very versatile. Here I found they are the perfect compliment to this bright page. I simply swiped some paint on the patterned paper before sticking them down to make them stand out.

I've finished the page off with a bit of ribbon and twine, and I used these funky star brads just like the embellishments in the sketch.

I made two cards based on the March/April Card Challenge Sketch using my up my scraps from my layout...

This is a sweet little birthday card, again using all the goodies supplied from my DT kit from Scrapbookit's awesome store. I love those stamps - I actually stamped them twice to give them a bit of depth; to create a somewhat "shadowed" effect. The rosette I made is using the edge of a Sassafras cardstock journalling sticker that I had already used the inside part for in my layout (see bottom left) - so this "left-over" was the perfect touch for this little card!

And here's my other card and I just love that gorgeous gold charm! I used one of these also on my layout. So cool! These sketches are fantastic to work with!!! All the hard work is done for you! :D

Well I hope you've all enjoyed what I've shared today! Be sure to check out all the new products available in store, and I'll be back with some more creations for you all real soon!

TFL!
