September Challenge

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Scrapbookit and spring!
Woohoo I am over the wet winter we have had and am looking forward to sunny days again I just hope mother nature thinks so to.

This month Mel has set us a great challenge and I can't wait to share the great projects everyone does.

To enter this month your Layout needs to have some chipboard, a hand made embellishment and you must use all those rub-ons (that we love to hate) you have in your stash to create your back ground.

Here is what I have come up with using Kaisercraft 'Basecoat' as my back ground, I have used the 'Twiddlebitz' chipboard wire, lots of rub-ons from my stash and I created this little felt house which I thought went really well with the photo of my boy in the tree. I have created some texture by embossing the brick template and spraying Dylusions mist to give it a grunge look.

A close up of my felt house.

Entries must be in by September 30th via e-mail to be in the running for a wonderful prize pack.

It seems the children are a bit busy to be scrapping so we will give their challenge a miss this month and bring it back for the holidays.

Make sure you drop back real soon and see what the design team has to show case this month with a special 'Guest member' showing us her style later in the month.

Happy Fathers day to all the Dads out there

  2. Oh Jo I love this layout to bits. It is so nice. The photo just set the scene so well. The house is cute. It reminded me of a tree house or the cubby house under the tree in the back yard. xx
