Something a little different from me!

Happy Wednesday (Hump Day!) everyone.
When this post goes live I will be in Canberra with 140 Grade 5/6 children on camp!!
Make sure you think of me!!

Have you been over to the Scrapbookit Gallery to see all of the awesome entries for this month? If you haven't make sure you head over there to check them out....I have made it easy for you  the words 'Scrapbookit Gallery' - above is a link to the gallery!

I have done something a little bit different for this post. I have created some canvases!

Here is the first one...

For this canvas I have used the Kaisercraft 'Marigold' collection. There is a gorgeous page which is a Die Cut Gloss page called Ornate. I have cut it in half and have cut the inside out.
I have used the 'Marigold Spice' paper as the background. I have used some Mister Huey's Colour Mist, a Kaisercraft clear stamp ~ musical notes, some ribbon and the Thickers Hugs - Corrugated Letter Stickers - Leaf. I have also cut out some different sized roses from the 12x12 Specialty Gloss Paper ~ Buttercup to make the cluster of roses.

I also had a play with the Exposed! Elements Vinyl Appliques by ScrapWorks. Isn't that a great little birdy?

Here is my second canvas...

I love this quote...
'Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness.'

I have used the gorgeous 7 Gypsies BirdSong tissue paper for my background, some Kaisercraft Clear stamps and some Kaisercraft Printed Tape.

I had my very first ever experiment with Texture Paste. A few months ago I watched the gorgeous Jo colour her texture paste so thought I would attempt this too!
I just love those gorgeous Thickers -  Doll - Fabric Chipboard Letter Stickers and the gates by Kaisercraft.

I apologise for a short post today but as you can imagine the Canberra Camp is consuming me.
I hope that I have inspired you to give a canvas or two a go.
Make sure you visit (online or in person) Scrapbookit where Jo can help you out with the purchase of everything you need to get started. Here is the link to the store Scrapbookit Online Shop.

Don't forget to get the kids scrapping so that they can get their entries in for the very first Kids Challenge! And whilst you are there email your entry through to Jo too!

Happy Scrapping!
