Hello everyone and thank you for joining me at the Scrapbookit
blog today for my take on this months challenge. I have been on
holidays in Queensland and now it is back to what I love, my
scrap desk. For this months challenge I had a sketch and a list.
This is the list
two different paint or glimmer mist colors
use a serviette or tissue paper
use a stamped image
use a serviette or tissue paper
use a stamped image
and below is the sketch
This is what I come up with. I hope you all like it.
I chose to use two different paints. I have used a Kaiser white paint
on my hessian and cardboard. I used brown on a sea sponge on my
back ground.
For the second one I picked the blue serviette behind my photos.
For the third I picked a Kaiser Craft background stamp.
Everything on my LO your are able to get from Jo at the Scrapbookit
store. One thing to remember is when you make your order and Jo
sends it out you even get the cardboard from your package (hehe)
which is what I used.
The beautiful papers that Jo sent me are Graphic 45 - By The Sea .
I just love them. I had these wonderful photos of my son's Harley
and Riley at the beach and they went perfect with the papers. Even
the name of the paper range was just what I wanted for my title.
As always I just cant help myself when it comes to papers like
these and I just have to fussy cut. My title, lighthouse, anchor and
the children are all cut from the papers.
For my patterned papers I have distressed the edges and then inked
them with Black Soot Distress ink the same as what I inked the edge
of my cardstock with.
The tags I made from the patterned papers and inked the edge of them too.
I hope you have liked my LO and don't forget to join in the challenge
and maybe you will be the lucky winner for the month.
Also remember that that Jo has so much in the Scrapbookit store and as
I always remind you.....if you don't see it then just drop Jo and ermail
and she will let you know about what you are looking for. Over the last
couple of months there have been lots of new products coming in that I'm
sure you will love.
Hugs all and Happy Crafting
Brenda
