Grandparents

Well hello again ladies, it's Brenda back for my second post

for this month. Yes I know you have just had a post from me,

but if you take two weeks off and holiday this is what you get.

But all good as I was prepared. I do hope you like this layout I

have created with the wonderful range Jo give me to work with.

The Very beautiful G45 - By the Sea.

The photo is from many years ago of my Grandparents. My dad

wasn't sure how old they were but said they were courting at the 

time. Each time I look at this photo I can hear my Grandfather say

"Strapping young fella wasn't I". It wasn't a question though, it was

 a statement. Grandma would just smile. I smile now thinking of it.

But he was rather handsome.

Now before I show you any more closeups of my layout I would like 

you to have a look at my new toy below. My fun, I'm in love with new

toy. If you are looking for an awesome punch then contact Jo for this 

one. Your 12x12 papers lock straight into it and away you go. Punch,

punch, punch across and all done. You can get some awesome punches.

 As you can see from the top photo it comes with a flower punch. 

It is the Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System. (Even the name sounds so

awesome). Then there are the cartridges. Both the bottom and top blue

patterned papers on my layout are these cartridges. I have done the one

on the bottom in white so you could see it good. I love it. So please talk

with Jo about this goodie because I'm sure you will love it as much as me.

Now back to my layout. I didn't do as much fussy cutting

this time. Just the shells and the mermaid. For the patterned

papers I chose to rip and ink. On the edge I used is Distress

Ink - Black Soot.

The leaf stem is a die and the beautiful flowers are

Manor House. Behind the photo I used some corrigated

cardboard I had left over from another paper pack I got 

off  Jo sometime ago. The title is Scrap FX and I colored

it with a Copic - Cadmium Red R27. I have done my LO

on black card stock. 

 

Well that's it for me for now. Please remember to have a look at

for this month is the Fiskers Punch System. BIG thumbs up from me.
