An awesome opportunity!!!

Hello everyone!

I've really enjoyed this amazing opportunity over the past year as a Design Team Member here at Scrapbookit. I hope I have provided some inspiration for all of you, but as they say, all good things come to an end, so it's time to search for a new fresh team!

For this month's challenge, you all have the fabulous opportunity in applying to become a member of the new Scrapbookit design team!!!

So to apply you must create a layout based on the sketch below by Pagemaps.com, you must also send in two other recent layouts, tell Joanne a little bit about your scrapbooking journey, link your blog, and answer this simple question: How will your position on our friendly team enhance the 'Scrapbookit' business???

Simple hey!!! This position will be for 12 months and DT members will receive products each month to create with. Oh yes - the hottest newest releases will be delivered to your door! :D

Here is my final DT example layout for Scrapbookit based on the Pagemaps.com sketch...

I was given a delightful bundle of Paper Inklings paper to play with. The border paper is all from the line "Caution Teen Boy"... cool thing is - I don't even need a teen boy to use it! I used it for my Toddler Girl... LOL! The graffiti look of this paper perfectly matched the street art theme of my photos. So much fun!!!

Have you checked out all the fabulous coloured cardstocks available yet in store? They rule! They are by Kaisercraft - great quality and very reasonably priced - here I've used "Sea Foam" and "Licorice" I love how this cardstock has a white core so you can expose it by applying sticky tape and ripping it off! I love doing that! Especially for these kinds of layouts! ;)

I've discovered another fun way to use up excess alphas! I used up most of my Foam Thickers that I received in this month's fab DT pack, except for the numbers. With my left-over numbers I left them on their sheet, covered them in Kaisercraft paint and stamped them straight on my cardstock. They make a great stamp!

Most of these cute brads are from in store! I've even used some upside down - just keepin' it real! ;)

Now here is this month's sketch:

Applications close for the Design team on April 6th, but if you would like to just play along with the challenge you have until April 14th.

All entries are to be sent to Joanne.

Successful applicants will be notified via email, Good luck!!!

I encourage you all to apply!!! It's totally worth it!!! :D

TFL!

Cheers,
Chantal :)
