Happy New Year 2015

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Welcome to Scrapbookit and 2015, I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the start of what will be a fantastic new year I'm sure.

Let's start the year with a great challenge set by our DT member Brenda and my take on the 'Tic Tac Toe' challenge she has come up with. For this challenge you can choose 3 of the criteria (they can be in any direction) and incorporate them into your project. Entries must be in by Jan 30th . You can email your entry or add it in the sidebar through the link.

I had some fun with these selfie photo's of Andrew and Myself that we took at a wedding we went to in November. I have used the beautiful Kaisercraft ' Blue Bay' range. I have used lots of the collect ables (1. Diecuts) The Scrap FX Feather stencil (2.Stencil) and my title is a WOW phrase that I have embossed with the Tinby Melts Glistening Snow. (3. Chipboard). I also used the new Dies from Kaisercraft to make my lock and key which I just inked with silver ink.

This paper range is so versatile with a big range of paper colours and textures. In my second layout I have chosen to use .  1. Banner 2. Flowers 3. Stamp.. I have used a Darkroom door stamp from the 'Brushes set', the banner is from Heidi Swapp and I have coloured it with the Prima colour bloom 'Vintage Coal'.  I have put some new overlays from Kaisercraft on the photo's to give them a cool edge. The flowers are from the collect ables and Kaisercraft Blooms that I added some Kindy Glitz to add that sparkle.

Here is the grid that Brenda has given us to choose from for the challenge, I hope you have fun creating with this great criteria.

I also made a couple of cards from this range as well, just to show how many different styles that can come from the one range.

Thanks for dropping by today, I hope you get a chance to join in this fun challenge and visit again for more inspiration from our team.

Happy scrapping
