Endless Summer...

Morning Everyone,

Have you recently checked out our Facebook page? We have a folder of all of the entries for this months challenge. All I can say is WOW! The layouts are absolutely stunning...picking a winner this month is going to be incredibly hard!
There are some extremely talented scrapbookers out there!
Thanks for joining in everyone!
There is still time to get your entry in...besides the fact that you could win a gorgeous prize pack from Scrapbookit...the real win is that you complete another layout for you!

I'm here to share another layout with you using the gorgeous Endless Summer Collection Kit by Cocoa Vanilla. This paper is so easy to use...and looks fantastic.

(I apologise for the photos...my layout has a bit of a curl happening and is not responding to any form of correction!!!!!)

Here is my layout...

How gorgeous is that paper???

I started with my background paper, adding a thin coat of white gesso and splattering it with a little Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain ~ Tarnished Brass.

For those of you that regularly follow our blog, you will have heard Jane talking about Metallic Gliding Wax. I am with Jane, this product is awesome! It is a wax product that you can use however you wish. For this layout, I have used it to "wax my edges." I have used the gorgeous Frosted Aqua and the Golden Light.

Here is a close-up of the edge of my page...

I have layered several different strips of paper, including a decorative strip from the accessory stickers that comes with this collection kit.

I have added a little twine which happened to really just land the way that it has ended. Gotta love when this happens and it looks OK.

Cocoa Vanilla also have a variety of different coordinating embellishment packs that go with their collection kits. They have really thought of and covered everything.
I have used the Die Cut Ephemera, the Puffy Stickers and the Woodies on this layout. I have also added some coordinating accessory stickers.

At Scrapbookit, you will find lots of yummy Cocoa Vanilla products. If you can't find them online or in store Jo is more than happy to get them in for you...all you need to do is ask.

Before I finish, make sure you check out the details for our upcoming retreat in Bright. A super fun weekend. If you haven't got your name down make sure you get in and book yourself in...you deserve a weekend away...!!!!

Make sure you head to our Facebook page and check out all of the wonderful entries we have for this month and be sure to add yours as well.
Some of them are also on the right hand side of this blog.

Happy Scrapping!

Cocoa Vanilla - Make a Wish

Good Morning All,
Here we are on a Monday morning , I hope you had an awesome weekend I know we had fun on our crop day on Saturday and actually managed to get some pages completed.

I am back today to share a couple more layouts I created using the Cocoa Vanilla range 'Make a Wish'.

This range is just so versatile I have created this gorgeous page of my new Grandaughter.

This cute chipboard heart is from WOW creations and I have sprayed it with Kaisercraft mist - Pink. Down the sides of my pahe I have put ColourBlast Paste  'Snow white and Lollipop' through the new Kaisercraft mini stencil 'Circles'.I have used the Alphabet stickers in the range for my title and added some puffy stickers.😀

For my next layout I have added lots of Dylusions Paint to create some texture to my background.

The diecut is new from Kaisercaft 'Texture Messy' I have also added embellishments from the Bits and Pieces pack. I love these cute little bows and pegs.

Well that's it from me this month, I hope you can join in our challenge and don't forget all the products we use are available in store so drop me a line if you would like to know more.

Perfect Day!

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to my first share for February.
Isn't the challenge set by Jane just fantastic? I just love it!
Thanks to Laura Whitaker for allowing us to use it! Laura has some great sketches available on her blog... http://scrappinaroundtheclock.blogspot.com.au/

Here is the sketch for the challenge...

The challenge not only requires you to use the sketch but to also add the following elements to your page...
* A touch of gold
* Some Washi Tape
* Include a song title somewhere on your page

Here is my layout...

It is not often that I scrap photos of me however have enjoyed creating this layout!

The papers that I have been playing with this month are absolutely gorgeous! They are Endless Summer by Cocoa Vanilla.
At Scrapbookit we stock Cocoa Vanilla goodies...it is so nice to scrap with an Australian company paper collection. They not only have gorgeous papers but sweet little embellishments, accessory stickers, flairs, woodies, puffy stickers and so much more. Be sure to check out Scrapbookit for all of your Cocoa Vanilla needs!

I have created my background on the 'Aloha Sunshine' patterned paper. I have used some water colours, splattered some Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint - Metallique Gold Rush (I love this paint...a paint that also provides dimension!) and stamped with the Kaisercraft Clear Stamp Hessian and black ink.

I have used some thin black wire to create the circle shape from the sketch and put some plain cheesecloth behind the photos!

I have used the song title 'Perfect Day' by Lady Antebellum, my most favourite band! I'm looking forward to seeing them again when they tour Australia!

How cute are the little woodies that you can get with this collection?
I have used these and some of the die cut ephemera to create some little clusters of embellishments.

I love the flowers and the gorgeous little flairs. It definitely is the best being able to buy the whole collection including all of the coordinating embellishments!

The last thing that I wanted to point out is my little '&' symbol. How sweet is that?
It is a Kaisercraft Lucky Dip Rubber Stamp. These are really cool. They come in a set of 6 and they are easy to use. These are also available at Scrapbookit. Be sure to head to our online store or email/message Jo to get all your scrappy goodies!!!
